Every ESA Program Sherwood Is Approved In (By State)

The Sherwood Team

Sherwood is an approved vendor in Education Scholarship Account (ESA) and school choice programs across several states. This page lists each one, the platform you use to buy, and how it works. If you are wondering whether your scholarship covers a reading app, start here.

A quick word on accuracy. Programs change, new states open, and award rules get updated. We keep this current, but always confirm details with your own program administrator.

States with a marketplace: ClassWallet

In these states you log in to ClassWallet, search for Sherwood, and pay with your scholarship funds.

Reimbursement states

Some states do not use a marketplace. You buy Sherwood directly and submit the receipt to your program.

MontanaOffice of Public Instruction ESABuy direct, submit receipt for reimbursement

We can provide a receipt or invoice for any purchase. Reimbursement approval is decided by your program, so confirm a reading subscription is covered before you buy.

My state is not listed. What now?

Two options. First, many programs allow reimbursement even without a marketplace, as long as educational subscriptions are an approved expense. Check with your program administrator. Second, tell us. Email hello@sherwoodkids.com with your state and program name. Family requests genuinely help us decide where to apply next, and we want to be in every state we can.

What an ESA subscription includes

No matter which state or platform, a Sherwood subscription is the same:

  • Thousands of audiobooks and ebooks chosen for kids
  • Word-by-word read-along on titles, so children follow the text as they listen
  • A profile for each child, with parent controls
  • One family price, no per-child fees

ESA subscriptions are granted as a full year, and new annual subscribers receive a free Bluetooth speaker for screen-free listening.
