Sherwood is a reading app for kids ages 0 to 16, with thousands of parent-vetted audiobooks, ebooks, and read-alongs. The programs in the table above have approved it as an expense. Each program makes that call for itself, which is why the table is the list of where Sherwood works today.
How you pay depends on the program. In the ClassWallet and Odyssey states, you find Sherwood in the marketplace and subscribe there, and the scholarship pays for it directly. West Virginia and Idaho families go through Theo Learning. Families in Montana and in Utah's Children's First program pay with their own card and send in the receipt for reimbursement.
If your state isn't listed, ask your program administrator whether a reading subscription is an approved expense. Some programs will reimburse a direct purchase even when the vendor isn't on their list, and some only pay vendors directly, so check before you pay out of pocket.

Yes, in the states where Sherwood is an approved vendor. An education savings account (ESA) or school-choice scholarship can pay for an approved reading subscription like Sherwood. Each program decides what qualifies, so check your program's approved-expense list.
Can I buy Sherwood with ClassWallet?
Yes. In states that run their scholarship on ClassWallet, including Arizona, Arkansas, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Carolina, you can purchase a Sherwood subscription right inside the ClassWallet marketplace using your scholarship funds. Mississippi teachers can find Sherwood there too, through the Education Enhancement Fund program.

Yes. Children's First Education Fund families subscribe to Sherwood directly, then submit the emailed receipt to the fund for reimbursement.
What if my state isn't listed?

How much does Sherwood cost with education funds?
Sherwood is $99/year (about $8.25/month) or $11.99/month, with a 7-day free trial. The price is the same whether you pay through a marketplace or by reimbursement.
How do I get reimbursed?
If your program allows reimbursement (Montana's ESA and Utah's Children's First Education Fund do), subscribe to Sherwood directly, then submit the emailed receipt through your program's reimbursement process as proof of an educational purchase. Some programs, including South Carolina's ESTF and North Carolina's ESA+, pay vendors directly and do not reimburse families, so check your program's rules before paying out of pocket.
